Education was at the core of Township Roots' mission. They launched an after-school tutoring program to support children in their literacy journey. Local teachers and volunteers offered their expertise to help students with homework, provide additional lessons, and cultivate a love for learning. They also organized workshops on life skills, career guidance, and entrepreneurship to equip learners with the tools needed to succeed in the competitive in life.
Recognizing the importance of physical and mental well-being, Township Roots partnered with local Social Workers and psychologists to establish a referral system.
To tackle the issue of unemployment, Township Roots initiated vocational training programs. They collaborated with local businesses and skilled professionals to offer training in various trades such as tourism and computer literacy.
